I am trying to cat the .xtc files using the trjcat option in gromacs,
but i am getting an error

Magic Number Error in XTC file (read 0, should be 1995)
when i execute this command. Please provide your suggestions to
overcome this error..
Search the mailing list archive. This error comes up frequently. You probably
have a corrupt trajectory. Use gmxcheck to determine where the problem is.
