Sorry for the rant, but... IN NO CIRCUMSTANCE MUST YOU DO THIS WHEN GLIBC IS IN QUESTION! THIS IS GUARANTEED TO BREAK YOUR SYSTEM! The correct way is to rebuild Gromacs for your distribution.
