I start at www.gmail.com, or mail.google.com, or click on the Gmail link near the upper right corner of the main Google webpage, and then login directly to Gmail. Or, are you using another program for accessing your Gmail account? Thunderbird, Opera, Outlook, etc.? These are commonly called "email client" programs. How exactly are you "saving" the document in a draft email? Is there some sort of "save" button? Are you saving the document or saving the draft email?
