I have done this by connecting Mozilla Thunderbird <https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/> to the account via IMAP, move all those email into a folder and then use the ImportExportTools add-on <https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/importexporttools/> to export them as .eml files which can then be opened or imported on the other end.
