Hmm, I was under the impression the various fields (group and location)
made it possible to filter what items would show up as selectable from
the “linked items” panel, but that's apparently not the case.
I'm wondering how one would be able to easily add all computers from a
given group or location or domain at once. Assuming some kind of
filtering would be possible, I guess it would be nice to have a “all”
line in the dropdown box. So that one can pick “computers” (matching the
filter) then “all” (in addition to the "---", "choice1", "choice2" etc.).
Suggested on IRC by Gonéri:
- Create the appliance and fill in some details.
- Open the Computers tab, perform a search, and then mass-update
→ Link to appliance.
So I guess it makes my request moot. :-)
