I asked last week about an error that I was getting (PHP ERROR : Fatal
error: Class 'Group' not found in
C:\xampp\htdocs\inc\commonitem.class.php on line 138), and someone
suggested that I have an out of date database. Well, I did forced the
upgrade to the newest database, and it still did it. I have since
gotten rid of everything, started over, and it is still doing this. I
have looked at the code, and I don't know what's wrong. Can someone
please help me? This is getting really frustrating. I realize this is
what happens when I'm using beta software, but it's still annoying.
Maybe it's not a problem with the code, maybe I'm just not doing
something right. I'm using the latest tarball from the dev site (8-20).
During testing, I got it to work once; the only thing different was the
database name. I'm currently using glpi for the db name. I've even
connected as the root mysql user.

My procedure is this: extract the 8-20 tarball to the htdocs directory.
Go to the web address. Follow on screen directions. When it asks for
username/password for the mysql databse, I put localhost/root/******.
It connects just fine, builds the databse, and it says everything's
ready. I go and submit a ticket right afterwards, and it works. I add
LDAP authentication to AD, and notifications, and it starts doing this.
I disable Notifications, and I can submit tickets right away. I
re-enable notifications, and it starts giving me these errors again.

Based on this information, I would say that the problem lies with the
"notifications" section, but I don't know where or how or what to fix.

Thanks,
Bill
