Hi Everyone

I'm quiet new to GLPI but i like it very much! Many thanks to the
developers and the community for this good work done so far !!

The only thing which is missing from glpi is some kind of snmp network
discovery as all the rest is successfully filled by ocs-ng but the
network switches and connections.

For this kind of information i use "nedi" (http://nedi.sourceforge.net)
which works quiet well... and stores all information needed (switch
names, mac addresses of connected pcs and servers and on which port) on
a mysql database.

So my question is.... is there any support for nedi planned or someone
already writing a plugin for it (would be nearly the same as the ocs-ng
plugin.... but with different information from a different mysql
database) ? if not... i would be glad to write a plugin.... but my time
and php knowledge is quiet limited as most of it is consumed by my own
project: www.redwall-firewall.com ( which includes glpi as well ;-))) ) :-(

Cheers

Marcel
