That is absolutely terrible but I'll give that a go. That said, if I put the
UUID in, it does show it at boot when it hangs, saying it can't find the
(correct) UUID.
There is also a command to check/verify the contents of /etc/fstab:
findmnt --verify --fstab
Will try that, but don't think fstab is the issue.
