Any Linux users out there also using one of those fancy new eink
notepads? I'm looking for one that lets me easily get to the files I
create on it. Ideally it would have 1st-class (documented, maintained)
support for direct ssh/rsync/Nextcloud, maybe a Linux-compatible FOSS
app, stuff like that. Just to be clear, I don't mean to install Linux on
the eink notepad (unless that's somehow a great idea), I'm fine with
their OS as long as I can sync files from it (maybe also to it) easily.
rsync+SSH would be fine. I heard remarkable <https://remarkable.com> has
a "developer mode" with SSH access
<https://remarkable.guide/guide/access/ssh.html>, but it doesn't sound
very user-friendly (useless GUID-like sync'd filenames
<https://www.reddit.com/r/RemarkableTablet/comments/fx5c0f/syncing_files_between_remarkable_and_computer/>).
I contacted customer support and I've learned they don't support
Nextcloud and SSH access is indeed possible.

has some leads. Maybe working with their cloud service would be easier
than going directly to the device. I guess I'm hoping to avoid too many
rabbit holes though, and also hoping for something as cool as remarkable
but with 1st-class Linux/etc. support. Oh and /not/ having to share my
data with their cloud would be nice too--I strongly prefer direct device
access.
