Hello, I have been using gitlab 8.0.2 with omniauth-cas for almost a year now. Last weekend I have upgraded our server to version 8.8.2 to get the new registry functionality. The omniauth strategy for CAS isn't working like I expected.
I get the following error in the "gitlab-ctl tail" command and it results on a 500 page ==> /var/log/gitlab/unicorn/unicorn_stdout.log <== I, [2016-05-30T14:19:21.926666 #3301] INFO -- omniauth: (cas3) Callback phase initiated. ==> /var/log/gitlab/gitlab-rails/production.log <== NoMethodError (undefined method `merge' for nil:NilClass): lib/gitlab/middleware/go.rb:16:in `call' I had different errors with the othe CAS strategy that I used before and solved them by configuring the fields email, user_id etc.. Now this error I can't find a solution and it is not very verbose. Has anyone come across with it? tips for debugging? I'm not that familiar with ruby nor rails..
