Hi Magnus, I was already using the SKIP=lfs because we are using an external mount for that.
So I checked in the rake task here: https://github.com/gitlabhq/gitlabhq/blob/7fa1ab469f40dfced988a75b95e484e40615e32d/lib/tasks/gitlab/backup.rake Then I tried, and it worked. :) But I think you're right. We had same problem and found two fixes. For once that is quite nice :) ++ On Wed, May 25, 2016 at 8:12 PM, Magnus Therning <mag...@cipherstone.com> wrote: > > Christophe TREFOIS <tre...@gmail.com> writes: > > > Hey, > > > > The actual fix was to put SKIP=registry in the cronjob. > > > > Next I will try to enable registry, and then see what happens. > > > > Maybe there are two unrelated issues causing the same outcome :) > > Did you try "my fix" and find that it didn't work? > > If not I'd say that "your fix", skipping backing up the registry results > in skipping trying to access the non-existing folder.
