I'm using gitlab-omnibus 7.3.1. For gitlab-rails, admins should modify /etc/gitlab/gitlab.rb and run "gitlab-ctl reconfigure" to generate /opt/gitlab/embedded/service/gitlab-rails/config/gitlab.yml so that settings are not overwritten when we upgrade gitlab.
What's the equivalent for gitlab-shell? If I modify /opt/gitlab/embedded/service/gitlab-shell/config.yml directly, it will be overwritten when I update gitlab, right?
