Hey @alamb following suggestions from @kevinjqliu I am happy to say that https://github.com/clflushopt/datafusion-tpch provides a ux on par with duckdb and what we discussed in this thread. I am open to suggestions with regards to improvements especially perf-wise since it currently doesn't leverage the same parallel approach we used in `tpchgen-cli`.
