FWIW we have now completed migrating all functions to User Defined Functions and I think there is growing interest in BTW I think there are many people interested in spark compatible functions. For exmaple: - https://github.com/apache/datafusion-comet (FYI @andygrove ) - @Omega359 and @Blizzara - @shehabgamin in SailHQ: https://github.com/apache/datafusion/issues/14296#issuecomment-2614337663 Maybe now is time to actually start collaborating on a spark compatible UDF function library.
