### What is the problem the feature request solves? `from_protobuf` from the `spark-protobuf` connector is not supported, so a projection that decodes a protobuf column falls back to Spark, along with the operators above it. ### Describe the potential solution First try running it through the JVM codegen dispatcher, which handles other Spark expressions with generated code.
