This seems related to https://github.com/apache/datafusion/pull/24086 and https://github.com/apache/datafusion/pull/24086. In my mind what should happen is: - ineffective filters are never promoted to later materialization or are demoted from it (related to https://github.com/apache/datafusion/pull/24086) - io pattern lookahead prefetches all batches for the scan in one go if it's small/single file (related to https://github.com/apache/datafusion/pull/24086) -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
