Just ran into this issue, I'll try and test this PR with our benchmarking setup. One think I need to figure out here is how that works with file-based sources, that also use `repartition_file_min_size` but have concrete data about the total size of the partition or of the file, which I'm not sure how/if is reflected in statistics. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
