(Not sure if this would cause any conflicts, have not really thought about)
(Also not sure how this one will perform if code folds contain a lot of lines 
of code)
I have posted many similar requests about code fold GUI indicators, here is 
another one.

Suggesting to add color parameters similar to the current line highlight, but 
for visually indicating the code fold that the caret/cursor is currently in.  
Current line highlight would still be shown as well.
Coloring would mainly be for the background but font color and properties could 
also be added like other color parameters offer.
So when the caret/cursor is within a code fold (expanded) all the lines of code 
in that code fold will get a background color to give user a graphical 
indicator of its boundaries.
Obviously could be turned on/off if user does not desire this indicator.
