techee left a comment (geany/geany-osx#58) I don't think it has anything to do with immodules (typically used for languages line Chinese).
You could try to have a look at `Geany.app/Resources/share/themes/Mac/gtk-3.0/gtk-keys.css` but I have never tried to edit it myself so I won't help you much with its contents and don't know if you can achieve what you want using that file.
