Review Comment:
IMO, [HIVE-28879](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-28879) will
likely require significantly more effort, so we can consider this PR as a
intermediate step forward.
however, maybe we can introduce a static [DbCatalog -> Client] mapping here,
