Actually, I prefer this: + = zoom in - = zoom out (notice the complete lack of multiple keys/buttons involved, I can do this even if I only have 1 remaining finger to share between both hands) I find your observations petty and non-helpful to this mailing list. You're not asking for help, you're trying to impose someone else's manifesto on everyone else.
