I got the brushes from these websites: http://www.noupe.com/gimp/1000-free-high-resolution-gimp-brushes.html I got some of the grunge ones, the snowflakes, glitter/sparklies, and florals from here. I got brushes form here: http://free-brushes.com/
I am using windows xp. I tried shutting the computer down and starting it up again and that didn't fix anything. I have downloaded all of these same brushes before on a different computer and they always worked fine then.
