[Gimp-user] Transparency in a .png image

[Olle Viksten]

I have an image with a black background and red and yellow text.

I need to make the background transparent so I can upload it to a
T-shirt printer.

Maybe I'm having a blonde moment but I can't find anyway to do it. Not
in the menues and not on the net.

Can someone help me?
