IMHO it does. Why not? See - I have this "digit" animated brush - just a set of 0 to 9 numbers in some pretty font, sprayed in random order. The brush size is just one, but depending on the desired effect, and the image size I am working on (for online viewing or for printing), I need a different size of the brush. With the current features opf the GIMP I need to make a new version of the brush for each size I wish to use it. There is a feature request in bugzilla about a Curves UI to control various brush variables - I hope we can implement that someday.
