Explain to me how this makes sense if by default, my builds go to
/usr/local/... ?  That *IS* in /usr, last I checked, and this is the
default build prefix for 99% of applications AFAIK.  Unless /usr/local
isn't in /usr.

If not, shouldn't it be in /usr/local?
