Hi Another hopeless newbie question I am afraid.
I am trying to reduce the effect of a flash reflection in a family snap shot. I have tried by creating a layer from a circle selection around the flash centre with a high "Feather Edges", then I fill the layer and use the Opacity to adjust the amount of darkening. This has not been very successful, I end up with a dark spot in the centre of the flash that is very noticeable. Could anyone suggest an alternative approach or point me at a tutorial that might help. A detail of the snap is attached.
