I've wondering if there has become a need to redefine the gimp user
list, possibly splitting it into multiple lists. Point is, I can see a
need for pure usage issues, like 'how do I do this with gimp,' verses
installation problems.

I assume that using gimp is pretty transparent across architectures,
where as problems installing or with it crashing are OS specific.

So, do others see this need? Such as:

gimp-users
gimp-win
gimp-unix

There may be better names, but it's a start. Also, I don't know all the
platforms gimp runs on.

What prompted this question is that I use gimp on Linux and have noticed
an increased number of questions from windows users having problems with
installation/crashes and such. Items, that would generally be of little
interest to non-windows gimp users.
