I wouldn't expect them to change. On the other hand, they have been supporting XFree86. I suspect the GeForce will be supported with XFree86 and commercial X servers. Side question: Does anyone know if the XF86 code is still obfuscated? And while I'm on the topic of nVidia, I'd like to point out that 2.3.x kernels now have RIVA fbdev support. I glanced at the code; it's based on the X server. There isn't any documentation, though, and it makes my monitor go blank when I try it.
