This is the second of two special issues published from papers presented at
the virtual symposium, "Weathering Extremes: African Environmental Politics
in a Destabilized World," in May 2021. That symposium was sponsored by the
Research Committee on Environment and Society (RC 24) of the International
Sociological Association; and hosted by the Program of Advanced Research on
Conflict and Collaboration (PARCC), at the Maxwell School of Citizenship
and Public Affairs, Syracuse University.
