Immediate Adjunct Opening, Fairfield University for “Introduction to 
Comparative Politics”, start date: Sept 6, 2022

Contingent on Departmental needs, Fairfield University is seeking to hire a 
one-term Adjunct Instructor in Comparative Politics to teach “Introduction to 
Comparative Politics” in the upcoming Fall 2022 semester. All instructors, 
graduate students (preferably, but not limited to, those with ABD status or 
above) and/or others with relevant subject or teaching experience should apply.

Details re: the Class:

  *   Title: Introduction to comparative Politics
  *   The class runs: Tuesdays and Fridays: 12:30-1:45pm, in person at the 
Fairfield University Campus in Fairfield, CT.
  *   We have an existing  syllabus that could be used to teach the class 
(although we are open to other syllabi too).
  *   Start date is September 6, 2022.
  *   Approximately 20 enrolled students
  *   Adjunct salary is commensurate with comparable Universities in the area
  *   Welcoming Politics Department faculty, who will be happy to work with you 
in developing your teaching portfolio, should that be of interest.
  *   Eligibility: Applicants are ideally expected to have completed a Ph.D., 
or an M.A. and be ABD, in political science, politics, or government.
