Dear All, I hope all is as well as can be. I wanted to alert you to a new edited volume that might interest you, Regime of Obstruction: How Corporate Power Blocks Energy Democracy <https://www.aupress.ca/books/120293-regime-of-obstruction/>
You can buy a print version of the book from UBC Press, but the entire volume is open access in a very accessible format <https://www.aupress.ca/books/120293-regime-of-obstruction/>. The book is reporting on findings from the Corporate Mapping Project (CMP), a partnership of academics and community-based researchers working to map the power of the carbon extractive sector (with a particular focus on Canada). The CMP is also hosting a free digital conference <https://www.corporatemapping.ca/conference/> in June, featuring speakers Naomi Klein, Avi Lewis, Eriel Deranger, Joel Bakan and others. Panels include a webinar on investigative research skills and one on decolonizing research and climate policy. Please feel free to share this information with your networks.
