Dear all, (Apologies if this email proves redundant—email service problems since last week, so am resending this to the group.)
The University of New South Wales (UNSW Australia) will soon be announcing a new round of the Scientia Scholarships Scheme. Officially, the new round will open on 19 March and close on 6 April, but due to the unique application process for this scheme, it would be good to have potential applicants contact us before the round officially opens to discuss their project proposal. The Scientia Scholarship Scheme, established as a cornerstone of the UNSW 2025 Strategy, is a prestigious scheme that will attract up to 700 new PhD scholars of exceptional quality over the next ten years. Awardees will receive a $40,000 p.a. stipend, plus a generous travel and development support package of up to $10,000 per annum. International students receive a tuition fee scholarship. Scholarship holders will also be able to access to a range of development opportunities across research, teaching and learning and leadership and engagement. More information about the scheme is available at: http://www.2025.unsw.edu.au/apply/ I’d appreciate it if you could please share this with your students, as we’re especially keen to get applicants with an environmental studies focus.
