Dear GEP-Ed Colleagues, I am looking for a new core textbook to use in an undergraduate course on the POLITICS OF CLIMATE CHANGE. I much prefer a book that is very short. Ideally it will be one that was published very recently.
I will supplement the core text with other materials. I would welcome recommendations for these, too (websites, short documents that can be downloaded from the internet, online videos, etc.). One thing I will need is a good short summary of climate science (the IPCC synthesis is too complicated for this course). If the core textbook is not available as an ebook, it must have a very low cost. An ebook to be purchased by an institutional library need not be cheap. Everything else must be free. (If you are wondering why I need short readings available at little or no cost, get in touch and I'll explain the circumstances where I'm teaching the course.) Please kindly send recommendations directly to me. If I get many of them, I'll share a summary with everyone on the list. Thank you for your help. Much appreciated.
