If he'd be interested in working in Mexico, I have at least three projects that he could work on for the summer. If he's looking to do volunteer work with ENGOs I could also link him to at least one in Aguascalientes and several in Mexico City, Oaxaca and San Cristobal de las Casas in Chiapas.
