Folks,

We have an opening for a postdoctoral fellow or a sabbatical (visiting)
faculty position. We just got it approved and it starts in September 2013,
so it's a "let's move fast" kind of deal. Ideally, we would want a
post-doctoral fellow with potential to stay at CIDE (e.g. someone who can
be competitive for a tenure-track position), or a sabbatical (e.g. someone
interested in Mexican or Latin American environmental politics and who
might want to stay for a year visiting in central Mexico). CIDE is a
fantastic university, and the Region Centro campus library is poised to
become the best library in all of Latin America (at least, that's my hope!)

We are open to non-environmentally focused folks, but of course, I would
LOVE it if someone interested in global environmental politics were to
apply. I am also checking the market for recent graduates or graduating
PhDs who might be in the field of GEP, and who might be interested in a
tenure-track assistant professor position (we might be hiring for a TT
position in the fall of 2013 or early in 2014).

Any help in resharing this position would be most appreciated. Potential
applicants would need to send me a CV, a 1-year research plan (including
publications/output plan) and preferably, one letter of
recommendation/support. I'm not on the hiring committee myself, but I'm
happy to forward potential applications or to discuss CIDE with any
potential applicants.

Thanks!
Raul
