PLEASE FORWARD TO YOUR NETWORKS AND MAILING LISTS

Dear Colleagues,

In the framework of the High Level International Conference on Water
Cooperation (www.hlicwc.org), to be held on 20-22 August 2013 in Dushanbe
and co-organized by the Government of Tajikistan and the United Nations,
scholars from all over the world - young and experienced alike - are warmly
invited to submit abstracts or half page concepts in English or Russian of
scientific papers, posters, articles, chapters, books and dissertations
relevant for the conference. This will contribute to incorporate cutting
edge research in the discussion and advance research about water
cooperation. The deadline for submission of abstracts is 20 June 2013.

An international Scientific Committee composed of renowned scholars from
various disciplines will evaluate the abstracts according to their
scientific quality and relevance considering the themes of the conference.
Based on the outcomes of this evaluation, some authors will then be invited
to submit full papers by 20 July 2013 and present them at a side event to
the conference. Posters will be exposed in the venue of the side event and
at the international exhibition organized alongside the conference. Based on
the outcomes of the evaluation process, travel support and accommodation
will be available for a limited number of scholars. After the conference,
the authors of the best papers will be invited to submit them for
publication in a special issue of a high impact peer-reviewed international
journal or book series.
