Amherst College seeks a specialist in environmental policy and politics, domestic (U.S.) and/or international, for the newly created Pick Visiting Professorship in Environmental Studies. The field (e.g., political science, sociology, policy studies) and rank (Visiting Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) are open. A Ph.D. is required. This is a two-year position, beginning in July 2013, with the possibility of renewal for a third year. The successful candidate will be expected to teach two courses per semester.
