Best regards, Greg Visiting Assistant Professor in Environmental Science and Policy The Environmental Science and Policy Program at Smith College invites applications for a two-year appointment as a Visiting Assistant Professor in Environmental Science and Policy, to begin July 1, 2012. We seek a candidate with an integrative environmental degree, or someone with a degree in a traditional field who has extensive experience in environmental science or policy, to participate in a new major in Environmental Science and Policy. The successful candidate must have strong quantitative skills and will teach five required courses/sections for the major in each year. Responsibilities include introductory and capstone courses and an intermediate-level lecture and lab. Research interests may include, but are not limited to: food and agriculture, environmental justice, sustainable development, and environmental change and conservation. The successful candidate will have opportunities to engage undergraduate students in research and to advance their own scholarship. Research and travel funds are available.
