You might consider distributing or quoting some recipes from a wonderful book written by a now-long-retired vet prof at UCDavis. Calvin Schwabe loved to travel to study animals and collect recipes. One of my favorite books -- though I've yet to try a recipe

Awhile back there was a discussion about trying to find insects for students to eat as part of a global food discussion. After spending way too long searching I finally happened upon some at a candy store while on vacation. I haven't tried them yet, but I'm really forward to offering cheese flavoured larvae to my class next semester!

Here's the link, they ship within the United States and internationally: http://www.hotlix.com/index.html

Happy insect munching,
