Job in International Environmental Policy and Sustainable Development:
The Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington 
University seeks applications from senior scholars in the area of 
International Environmental Policy and Sustainable Development for a 
position at the rank of full professor. This position will be held by a 
distinguished scholar and dedicated educator with an international 
reputation. The position will be based in the Elliott School's Center 
for International Science and Technology Policy and will begin in 
academic year 2011-12.

Basic qualifications: A Ph.D. in a relevant social science discipline or 
inter-disciplinary field with expertise in environmental challenges such 
as: sustainable development in relation to the environment; climate 
change, energy, and natural resource issues; environmental security; and 
national and international policy options. Applicants must have a record 
of sustained and continuing high-quality research, substantial teaching 
experience, and a clear interest in policy issues that will support the 
Elliott School's mission.

Application procedure: Applicants should send a letter of interest 
detailing research interests and teaching qualifications, a current 
curriculum vitae, course syllabi and course evaluations, and one writing 
sample to: International Environmental Policy and Sustainable
