Presently, the unsupported vector grid module can be used to create polygonal
grids, composed of either rectangular or hexagonal elements, as feature
collections. Andrea suggested adding line generation to the module so that, for
example, parallels and meridians can be created for display purposes.
The API for lines will be as similar as possible to that for polygons: ie. a
Lines helper class for common cases; plus element building classes that can be
sub-classed for custom behaviour.
