I just had a look at the SourceForge admin page. The geotools-discussion
mailing
list is already flagged as "deleted", and SourceForge site said "mailing lists
cannot be removed (flagging the list as deleted merely removes it from the
listing of available mailing lists, but does not shut down the mailing list"...
