GeoTools currently bundles EPSG database version 6.12. Current EPSG version is
6.18. The only reason why I didn't updated the database yet was a lack of time.
I'm working close to full time on the referencing module right now, for many
months. Updating the EPSG database is part of the work. But I can give a date
when it will be ready. Last time I told November, which was of course wrong.
