At the moment H2 datastore treats all blob columns as generic Geometry types.
Make it so that the geometry type can be determined (and the srs as well?)
Options:
- use column comments to store the metadata (comment on column myTable.myGeom
is 'POINT,4326')
- do it like postgis, use a geometry_columns metadata table (it would leave
comment free for descriptive comments on the column contents).
