I do not think this issue is reported to the issue tracker yet, although you could search:
The warning about "ERROR [geotools.map] - Call MapContent dispose() to prevent memory leaks" may be able to tell us more specifically where the problem is, please include one example of the stack trace from your geoserver logs when reporting the issue. Please also include some information on the GetLegendGraphic request. Was it a layer group? A single PostGIS layer?
