Vic, can you show us your WMS request? I expected a query for the app-schema layer tn-ra:RailwayStationNode not tn-ra:inspire_stations, which looks like a source feature type.
I recommend using the top-level (non-workspace) service endpoint, especially for your older version of app-schema. (But you have already identified that this is not the problem.) Kind regards, Ben.
