Hello, I have a problem similar to that described here, but during the store definition in Geoserver:
http://seotoast.com/getting-a-java-lang-outofmemoryerror-error-while-importing-raster-files-from-postgis-to-geoserver/ I am trying to import raster data from PostGIS 2.2 to GeoServer 2.9.0. I follow the instructions given on this link: http://docs.geoserver.org/stable/en/user/tutorials/imagemosaic-jdbc/imagemosaic-jdbc_tutorial.html I used the gdal_retile to make tiles of my GTiff imagery. I configured xml files and placed them at desire place. Then I used the DDL generation utility which create 4 SQL scripts file, then I ran the SQL scripts. The image tiles importing runs correctly, but when I tried to connect the data store in Geoserver I get this error: ... Caused by: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: GC overhead limit exceeded at java.util.zip.ZipCoder.getBytes(ZipCoder.java:80) at java.util.zip.ZipFile.getEntry(ZipFile.java:310) at java.util.jar.JarFile.getEntry(JarFile.java:240) at java.util.jar.JarFile.getJarEntry(JarFile.java:223) at sun.misc.URLClassPath$JarLoader.getResource(URLClassPath.java:1005) at sun.misc.URLClassPath.getResource(URLClassPath.java:212) at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URLClassLoader.java:365) at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URLClassLoader.java:362) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(URLClassLoader.java:361) at org.eclipse.jetty.webapp.WebAppClassLoader.findClass(WebAppClassLoader.java:510) at org.eclipse.jetty.webapp.WebAppClassLoader.loadClass(WebAppClassLoader.java:441) at org.eclipse.jetty.webapp.WebAppClassLoader.loadClass(WebAppClassLoader.java:403) at org.postgresql.core.v3.QueryExecutorImpl.processResults(QueryExecutorImpl.java:1969) at org.postgresql.core.v3.QueryExecutorImpl.execute(QueryExecutorImpl.java:255) at org.postgresql.jdbc2.AbstractJdbc2Statement.execute(AbstractJdbc2Statement.java:570) at org.postgresql.jdbc2.AbstractJdbc2Statement.executeWithFlags(AbstractJdbc2Statement.java:420) at org.postgresql.jdbc2.AbstractJdbc2Statement.executeQuery(AbstractJdbc2Statement.java:305) ... The image size is almost 500MB. If I use the same procedure with an image of 4MB size, everything works. Could you help me, please? Thanks for your attention.
