Hi Nicolas, right, you're uploading an existing shapefile... I thought you were uploading it in the request body (I seem to have issues accessing GeoServer's online docs this morning and I couldn't open your link).
Your code looks correct (as far as I can understand): are you using the absolute path to the shapefile in your request? If the answer is yes, I'd do what Andrea suggested and try without the JDBCConfig module.
