I have a few similar layer groups, having almost the same layers. So it would
be also good to have the ability to somehow "copy" the layer group and then
change its contents a bit. Is it possible?

I have tried :

1. Have a "good" layer group A with the desired layers
2. Creating a new layer group B
3. copy the "publishable" tags from the xml of layer group A in Geoserver's
data directory
4. Paste it to the layer group B's xml in Geoserver's data directory

But this didn't worked.

Any idea how to "save as" a layer group?

Cheers,
Ben
