this is my first post and I'm pretty new in geoserver, so please accept my
appologies in advance if any of my comments is'nt at your level.
Here is my issue:
I've a layer from a MySQL view of a spatial table. The geometry type of
this layer is specified as 'Geometry', not 'polygon' although all its
records are polygons. It has to be in this way cause if it is declared as
polygon it crashes using an application we have to create these polygons.
I've created a thematical style that specifies a certain colour for a
certain value in some of the attributes of the table.
My problem is that this style works fine when I check the result in the
previous visualizations in OpenLayers in the Geoserver Administration site.
But, when I try to load this layer in my web app, a full pink layer is the
result.
I've tested the layer opening a wfs connection to my geoserver from a
client GIS (Udig) and it appears to display a line feature instead of a
polygon. So I guess that here must be the problem.
Can anybody suggest any solutoin please?
